Ubud morning markets

Each morning in the center of Ubud there is a rich community of men, women, and children who commute into the city to trade and sell fruits and vegetables. The market begins at 3:00 AM, women begin to set up their designated stalls and the energy quickly shifts from the quiet of night into a vibrant colorful array of balinese chatter. It is one of my favorite things to experience in Bali, specifically Ubud. I highly recommend learning a bit of Bahasa to barter for some fresh produce and delicious pastries.
